Nyona

Its so difficult to find great nyona food around in sg.and also indeed difficult to find alot nyonas & babas now.the generation is getting lesser and lesser.im so proud to learnt that my maternal side are mostly peranakans.i feel so proud learning abt their culture.the ability to communicate in Hokkien as well as in Malay.

Since Young, i haf been speaking both English & Peranakan Malay at home.im jus so used to it keke. and now even my little gal is picking up too.

Every Mon to Fri, 530pm, channel 8 will broadcast 'THE LITTLE NYONA' show.Try to watch. it reali shows their cultures so clearly and im so glad that im part of it too.
